"insert witty caption for message here"

That wasn't very creative for the title of my newest post. I suppose I should have gone for something more like "Words to live by" or perhaps "Read this message now or the Wolfen will come after you with his razor" but oh well. I'll try to get to the point. I'm still alive, working, watching cartoons and desperately wishing i could read, so i could be a part of Tod's Oprah-like book club. Oh yeah, my point was that I saw Matt Kleemeyer at Showa tonight. He works there as well, and has since September.

Just thought i'd throw that out there, if anyone was still watching VH1 to see him on an upcoming episode of "Where are they now?" or "The Surreal life."

Current Reads

I really haven't that much to say, but I thought I would still do my part. Here is a list of the books that I have read recently or that I am reading now. I know that you don't really care.

1. Kingdom Come (Graphic Novel) ~Alex Ross
2. Joss Whedon's Fray (Graphic Novel)
3. Wizard and Glass : The Dark Tower IV ~Stephen King
4. Wolves Of The Calla : The Dark Tower V ~Stephen King
5. Screenplay~Sid Field
6. Blue Jean Buddha
7. The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy

Random Thoughts

First, congrats to Mike on his new adventure. We here in NJ wish you the best of luck on this new endeavor. And Mike, remind to tell you exactly why they ask you to wear steel-toe boots.

Second, the blog has been revamped. I felt it needed a bit of a sprucing up, plus it's almost 1am and I'm still awake. And kinda bored. So hopefully this new template works for everybody (hey my wife liked it, so all you guys should too, right?).

Third, Koz. If you still read the blog, I'm sorry if I came off as an asshole the other night. I went about it the wrong way. But I'm gonna be frank (yes Mike, you can still be Garth), I don't agree with the way everything kinda ended up. I expected a different outcome completely (and was really hoping for that outcome). However, it's not my decision for how your life plays out. And as long as your happy, I'm happy for you. And I promise that I'm not going to freak out again or use those 4 words I'm known to use in these situations. You're my best friend, no scratch that, you're my brother and I'm always at your back. I swear on "The Warmth".

Fourth, huge congrats out to Evan. You're the first one of us to graduate college (I still think Tod's cooler for being the first to drop out, but hey) and Andi & I are very proud of you. Enjoy the Bahamas, and gimme a buzz when you get back.

Fifth, Tons of Fun, I'm gonna call you if I can drag my ass outta bed early enough to do it. I can't wait till you have your own place, and I don't hafta fear the wrath of Ted if I call past 7pm.

Sixth, nipples.

I guess I should finally chime in with something...

Sadly, i'll admit that i completely forgot this blog even existed and for that reason haven't said anything. That, and I rarely have anything to say really. Anyway, having freed myself from blockbuster i find myself with a job at Showa. I am also still in college, and plan on staying there for the next 19 years, which is about how long i expect it will take for me to complete a bachelor's degree. So next time on "Super God Lord Emperor Mike," episode 2: "New Adventure Begins! Mike trapped in the factory of doom!"

You won't want to miss it!

Also, check out www.zeldaclassic.com it has a cool zelda emulator that allows you to create your own zelda game, or play the numerous ones other's have created.

See ya next time!

Live From Rome

That's right ladies and gents we are coming to you live from Rome Int'l Airport where I've just spent the last 12 hours. You know why I've spent 12 hours here. My Skateboard!!! They let me carry it on in Philly but when I went to board my connecting flight in Rome, they said (in a horrible Italian accent) "No Skateboard". While waiting to find where we could check it in, we missed our original flight, and the one 2 hours after it. Just goes to show you that going to all these wild countries is a huge fucking headache. Well my times almost up on this kiosk, peace out fuckers!

1984

For those who don't know, I have a serious hard-on for the novel 1984. Hands down the greatest book ever written. I recently purchased the 11-Hour audiobook version and I'm working on getting the two movie versions. Now I had read this book back when I was a freshman and truly enjoyed it then. However, it never went past just reading it. Last summer I had the urge to read it again, so I bought it and for some reason it connected to me on a much deeper level this time around. I've read it 12 times since buying it in July. Now, I've read a few books in my day, but I've now realized, this is my book. I even found this site. It seems that these people were trying to make a comic book out of the novel. Sadly it doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. But regardless it's a pretty sweet idea and the demo artwork looks badass. I'm thinking that I may try and do a script adaption for a future project (hint, hint, Tod). Anyways, if you've never read it, I highly recommend you do. But a word of warning, "Big Brother is watching you..."
