Revenge Of The Sith

Where do I begin? I figure that after my second time of seeing it, I can offer a better opinion of it. I was so pumped for this movie I was looking up all the info I could on the net, plus listening to the soundtrack over and over, then reading the novelization, then reading the graphic novel. then succeeding in watching all 6 in one day. That's right I did it. But enough of that, now to my thoughts.

First, Mace went out like a bitch, bullshit. Mace is the second baddest Jedi in the galaxy, and he screamed like a little girl when he got his hand cut off (see below for a list of those who didn't cry when they got a hand cut off). This dude was my favorite Jedi and he went down crying, I'm hurt.

Second, in EpII I though Anakin was a whiny ass little bitch. I mean, c'mon "this is DARTH VADER". Stop crying please, stop whining please. However in EpIII I really started to feel for his character. When you see how much everybody (and I mean everybody) uses him to try to gain the advantage, I can sympathize with him. Everyone gave him the wrong signals, and he went with the only choice he thought he had simply because nobody could give him a better one.

Third, the duel. The verbal exchange between Obi-Wan & Anakin before, during and after the duel made me cry. I admit it, I cried. It was a heartfelt exchange both verbally and physically. The duel really spoke about their relationship and how well they knew each other.

Fourth, no Jar-Jar.
